Walton Lea Project

We are a successful charity which provides supported employment and training for adults with learning disabilites on 2 sites in Warrington.

There are now 50 adults with learning disabilities who work at Walton Lea Walled Garden and Long Lane Garden Centre. They range in age from seventeen to sixty four! Some come just one day a week whilst others come five days a week.

The Project employs a team of professional staff who provide support for the workforce not only in work skills but also in education, social and personal development.
In addition we use computers to help improve basic skills in literacy and numeracy.
